The museum Casa Chacona is situated on the ground floor of a restored traditional Canarian building.

The exhibits include: the possible diffusion of ancient cultures illustrated by means of cultural parallels, the use and global distribution of reed boats, examples of step pyramids all around the world, as well as constructive details of the pyramids of Güímar and the results of past excavation campaigns.
